The Box Camera

It's a unique analogue camera and darkroom in one. The image is exposed directly onto 4x6” photo paper and developed on the spot inside the camera. The paper negative is then rephotographed to be turned into the final handmade print. It’s a beautiful, tactile and slow process — the perfect antidote to a fast moving digital world.

Our workshops are rooted in care and creative expression.

We have extensive experience working with vulnerable and marginalised communities. Our practice is rooted in care, inclusivity and trauma awareness. We create safe, supportive spaces where participants can build confidence, explore their emotions and connect through creativity. We open conversations about identity, belonging, memory, and hope at a pace that feels safe and is participant-led. Creative artistic practice can play a vital role in supporting mental health and emotional wellbeing.

We Speak Up!

16 men standing with women and girls during 16 days of activism against gender based violence. The series was a collaboration with White Ribbon and is shown as an outdoor exhibition across the UK.

Afghan Women Rising

Afghan women are often spoken about, yet their own voices are

rarely heard. 15 August 2021 the Taliban’s returned to power in Afghanistan. Since the take-over, women and girls have been

systematically erased from public life in Afghanistan and are faced

relentless restrictions: Girls are barred from school beyond the sixth

grade, women are forbidden to work, appear on television, leave

the house alone, sing, or speak in public. New bans appear daily.

This series challenges their erasure featuring seven Afghan women

who have found safety in the UK after escaping at great personal

risk.
